Back and Fourth Flea
Back and Forth Flea brings together vintage sellers, creatives, and secondhand shoppers for pop-up markets around the Northeast. The name speaks to the circular nature of secondhand shopping, as vintage finds move from one owner to the next and vendors continually go “back and forth” sourcing new pieces for their collections. I developed the brand identity and visual language, using alternating slanted typography in the logo to bring the “back and forth” concept to life. The bold, blocky mark was designed layer seamlessly over photography and adapt across event and social content.

The overall visual language leans grungy and nostalgic, drawing from the character of vintage and secondhand finds. I also helped shape the brand strategy and marketing approach, developing social content and event promotions, building brand partnerships, and incorporating sponsors into the creative. The goal was to create a recognizable brand that could grow alongside the market and build a community around it.
